Matias is a Partner at Founders Fund, focused on growth stage and international companies. Since joining in 2018, he's worked on a wide range of investments including Figma, Persona, Ramp, Rippling, Scale, SpaceX, Stripe and Wave. He’s on the board of Kavak and Trade Republic.

Previously, he was at Insight and CapitalG, with investments including CrowdStrike, Looker, Qualtrics and UiPath. He also operated at Wallapop, a European consumer marketplace. He holds a BS in Finance and Information Systems from NYU Stern.

Matias is from Buenos Aires and currently based in Miami, after a decade in San Francisco, New York, Barcelona, and Shanghai. He’s an avid kite surfer and skier.
